My background
Before stepping fully into photography, I spent years as an educator — earning my undergraduate degree in Elementary and Middle School Education and a Master’s in Educational Leadership.
That background has shaped everything about how I work with families. I understand children — their emotions, their rhythms, their wonder. I know when to give direction and when to step back and let genuine connection unfold. Whether your baby is days old or your little ones are bursting with energy, I approach every session with patience, calm, and care.
I believe photography is a form of worship — a way of honoring the moments God has entrusted to us. My sessions are quiet, intentional, and full of grace — a space where families can slow down, breathe deeply, and simply be.
From wardrobe guidance to gentle posing, each detail is curated to help families slow down and simply be together. Sessions unfold naturally within a peaceful, light-filled studio environment, allowing authentic connection to take center stage.
Through soft, natural light and a peaceful, guided approach, I aim to create portraits that feel timeless and true. My hope is that the images we create together become more than photographs — that they become heirlooms of faith, love, and legacy for generations to come.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me with my husband, Alex — a steadfast encourager and the calm to my creative spirit — and our two pups, Willard and Harold.
